KARAOKE SINGING AND SONG PARODIES

As John Cleese would say...

"And now for something completely different"

I am not sure if I have shared this with you before, but I really enjoy singing karaoke and even run a show of my own on a Saturday night. Being a host one has to be able to sing whatever people want to hear from heavy and rock, to country and ballads, and be available for help with… Continue

An Unfortunate Day

Yesterday was one of those horrible unfortunate days that perhaps hit us all from time to time. First of all, I suffered a computer crash, and though I got most everything back again, my e-mail program has been inoperable since then and I have to wait until someone comes out to the house to see if I can get it back. If not, I'll lose a whole load of important emails, attachments, and contacts.

Then, my father-in-law, who was on a visit to our home, suffered a small stroke while he… Continue

Mama's Tears

There is a time for everything under the sun and a purpose for every child born into this world,

A purpose that fills the heart of every mother that looks upon her children a purpose for every boy and girl.

A purpose that is in the heart of each mother who looks upon her children and wonder what will my child become? Who will my child be?

I close my eyes and I see a woman in a dim lit room, bible open, television off, tears in her eyes,… Continue

Recent Book Reviews of Compulsion

A wild ride! Jennifer Chase has written a deliciously twisted tale that will keep you turning page after page. From a title than draws you in from the get go to a plot line that rivets, Compulsion was simultaneously entertaining and insightful. Chase has a knack for placing the reader inside the tormented mind of the serial killer, you really get a sense…

The sought-after Ryan Kelley

My name is Ophelia Julien and I write about ghosts and the supernatural/paranormal. I believe in a lot of the unbelievable, so I don't know why I would find it surprising that Martin Bartloff, the owner of this blog, would eventually wind up becoming my friend. I mean, I believe in ghosts. So how odd can it be to have a friend who practices the Law of Attraction, writes to music the same way I do, finds connections between random events and people… Continue

Non-Fiction Book Nearly Completed

My non-fiction book for writers will be completed this week. When I have done case studies on the book, it will be ready to sell. If you are a writer who has trouble selling a lot of books, you will want this ebook. There are so many ways to sell a book, but are you familiar with the best ways to sell one? Our job is to write books and, of course sell them, but selling should not be a 9-5 job. If it is, there is a problem.

I have learned from a handful of the best… Continue
