Ning now allows music on your pages!!!

You can now add music to your individual pages. Ning has just added this capability to your pages. You'll find music on this front page as well (but, as the creator of this group, I'm the only one who can add music to the opening page). Personalize your page now with your own music.

Note: I have to rely on Ning to add capabilities to this network. Since I'm not a programmer, I don't have any idea how to add plug-ins or such unless Ning makes them available.

SMALL PUBLISHERS

John K - In your May 1, 2007 Newsletter you listed eight options for publishing a book. One of them was to use a small publisher. You mentioned the Santa Monica Press. I looked over its site, and it appears to be genuine and excellent. It has an interesting booklist. I may submit a ms to it. However, in the past I had researched the small presses and found the experience to be depressing. Most of them are niche or what I call "coterie" presses. "Coterie" presses are ones that get their funding… Continue

Latest Reckoning News and Character notes

All righty then! As per some questioning emails I have received, I'm going to toss out some background information. Let's get down to brass tacks here.

The Asphodel series (both of them--snort!) has a very strong basis in Greco-Roman mythology, with some additional roots in Celtic, Egyptian,… Continue

Website Question

This may be the place to ask about website hits. I launched my site on March 12, 2007. Within the first 80 days, I received 10,059 hits from people in 25 countries.

So far in June, I'm averaging just over 200 hits a day. Is this reasonable? It seems like a lot, but truthfully, I don't have a clue.

There was a story in the news recently that involved little boy being killed by a komodo dragon The boy was mauled when he went to defecate behind a bush Saturday on Komodo island. The Komodo bit him on his waist and tossed him viciously from side to side. A fishermen, who just happened to be the boy's uncle, threw rocks at the lizard until…

Hey Your on My Side

My spirit was instantly saddeded when I was doing some reading on the up coming summit that will be taking place this week at the G-8 summit. There is a big controversey that is going on now because Russia’a president Valamir Puttin comments on Bush's ambition to erect a missile defense system on Moscow's doorstep. U.S. officials have…

First Author Signing

My first official author signing event will be on June 24th in Denver at the International New Age Trade Show. This would appear to be the best market to introduce my book since they're already interested in alternative health ideas. I'm stepping into a fascinating new world!

Cheryl Kaye Tardif on the Cover of 24 HRS

Ok, I received a few phone calls this morning from people who saw the COVER of 24 Hrs. It's 90% me...my photo...God help me.

Ok, for someone with a rotten flu and a fever of 104 on Tylenol 2's and decongestants, I guess it could be worse.

The article is short and sweet on page 5, but I have to say I've seen myself everywhere this morning when I went out. The 24 boxes are on every corner about every 3 blocks, serving over 1 million people.

Let's hope all the big stars… Continue

I Swear
