Ok, So I have a son in college right now, he is a going into his JR year this fall. He lives alone in an apartment. He works full time to put himself through school. The kid is lonely. He comes from a house full of kids, and now he is alone in that apartment. He wants a cat.
Now that seems to make sense. A cat can be alone while he is in school, and would not need to be walked. He could hold a cat while he does his work all evening. It would give him something…

Serpent's Quest - Red Wolf was the strongest of the Nine Great Chiefdoms of the lycan clans, which had long suffered under the yoke of the blood-drinking sa'necari necromancers. Thirty years ago, the realm of the sa'necari, Waejontor, was conquered by the amazon nation, Shaurone. The Sharani brought the lycan people three decades of peace and freedom that is now threatened by the sudden rise to power of a young Waejontori Queen.

Networking is more than just meeting new people. It is also identifying people you can partner with. Partnering in this sentence meaning where both parties can benefit from the friendship. Unfortunately, most networkers only want to find clients/customers. That is not the point of networking at all.
When on these kinds of sites, it is imperative to share your information and offerings, but it is more important to build friendships, learn the people in the groups with you. Notice who…

Hi everyone!
If any of you feel the need, you can feel free to add me on Twitter at http://twitter.com/JaimeMcD
If you are unfamiliar with Twitter, it's basically a very simple chat room. You can post updates about what you're doing, how you're feeling, what you're reading, etc throughout the day (and night).
Yes, there is a lot of potential for time wasting. :)

This episode 4 of season 2 of Lifetime’s ARMY WIVES – titled “Leaving the Tribe” – is on an entirely different plane than the first three episodes of this season. I looked up on
www.imdbpro.com the credited writer of the episode – Bruce Zimmerman – with story credit to Nick Thiel.
And then I knew why this episode was so emotional I’m writing this blog post with zig zag lines in front of my eyes…

In response to a request from Shawn Michel de Montaigne I'm posting a short extract from my current critically acclaimed novel, 'A Study in Red - The Secret Journal of Jack the Ripper'
What follows is the introduction and first chapter of the book. I'll be happy to post a further short extract at a later date, but for now, I hope this may whet a few appetites.

Ok, I know that is not a title you might expect from me, but really, it caught your eye didn’t it??
The funny thing is I meant it! I have several message boards I chat on. I have noticed a trend lately. A person having a rough time of it will post asking for help or support. They lay their hearts open, asking for some loving words. What they get is a long, drawn out, rude reply telling them how their problems are their own fault. I have seen some of the meanest…

The military spouse entries at
www.yourmilitary.com to "Tell-Your-Own-Story" were so heart-felt that it was decided to give military spouses more time to enter. The original contest deadline was only three weeks after the contest was announced. And when writing about such significant or traumatic moments, people often require time for reflection before ever putting pen to paper or fingers to computer keyboard.
The emotions that can arise from…

I'm delighted to announce that my forthcoming novel
'Purple Death' has won The Authors Lounge Best Cover Illustration Award for June 2008. I'd like to thank Graeme S Houston for his imaginative and brilliantly conceived design of the cover, and of course, everyone who placed their votes for the cover. I will of course put the award on view as soon as I receive it but in the meantime the results can be seen at
