Decision to Love - a review

Decision to Love is easily my favorite installment in the Sacred Vows series by Michelle Sutton. It continues to follow the lives of Hope and Tony, eight years after their illicit love affair from book one Never Without Hope. This is book three in the series, following Their Separate Ways which showed us the aftermath of their affair and the struggles that each had in trying to put the pieces of their lives back together. In this book,…

"Twin Tales- Volume 3 - Cover Up" by De Miller- Coming Soon

Does God’s grace know no bounds? That question didn’t even enter Gerry Ficus’s mind until the day he laid eyes on 28-year-old Shelia Bryant, wife of one of his charges at the local police department. Gerry, a 40-year-old pillar of the Mound City community, a ranking officer with the local police department and a lay pastor at the First Methodist Church of Mound City, put away…

Over the centuries, its landscape changed and with it the city itself. From its humble beginnings, it soon became the magnet for the thousands of refugees escaping the oppression overseas in the hope of finding freedom and…

I could have sworn I saw Greasy Adam...

Several days ago, I discovered some pages on Facebook that caught my attention.  One was entitled, "I Grew up in Groves" and the other is "Gulfway Drive".  I quickly scanned the posts from people that used to or still live in the area and memories of my youth started coming back to me.

I still remember…

Reflections of being published

It is really funny to me the different impressions that people are getting about The Final Shortcut. I had certain images in my head when I wrote this. And when I talk to people after they have read it, many of them are seeing different things and making parallels that I had never thought about.

I made Junior to be a victim of his own life's circumstances, but I did not think that he would turn into such a sympathetic character. Many are asking for a…

Author freedom

I got another one of those terrifying e-mails from Kindle Direct publishing saying they have discovered INSECTLAND for sale at other online booksellers. And as anyone who publishes through this promotion knows, you have to be exclusive to Amazon.com for 90 days. Violating this can lead to the expulsion of your book not only from the promotion but also from Amazon and Kindle. That would be a huge blow to my market audience of Kindle and Kindle Fire owners. Worried I might lose this book, I…
