For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers
Good morning, writers! I pray this finds you well, ready to enjoy your holiday weekend. For those of you in the States, I hope you're poised and ready to experience a lovely Labor Day, and that you'll be able to fill a bit of it with some writing time.
My week? It's been overwhelming, actually. Horribly hectic. Filled with a gazillion family appointments, all scheduled to be done before college starts up again for the twins. On Tuesday, I sat by my daughter Allison's…

This is your official invitation to visit me on any or all of my blog tour stops. I'm covering a lot of questions on these interviews and I'm giving away a copy of Widow's Walk to one person at the end of the month. This book is based on the life, and death of my daughter who committed suicide on September 21, 2001, leaving her four-year-old son behind. She was manic depressive/bipolar, since the age of fifteen. My husband and I are raising our grandson, and eventually adopted him at the age of seven.
I wrote this book to help other families look for some of the signs and symptoms that, I probably should have seen before my daughter took her own life. Donna Rogers ISBN# 1-4241-5078-7

No, this blog post is nothing to do with whether troops should be in Iraq or not .... but today's book review is about an Empire that spent nearly 850 years fending off attacks from neighbors before it finally succumbed to the Ottoman Turks in 1453:

Is eat, that’s right…I admit it with not a trace of shame. But I wake up hungry. I have friends who wouldn’t even think of putting anything in their mouth until that caffeine begins to percolate in their veins.…
