“Ask of me what you will,” He said as He gently pulled me on His knee. My eyes were closed but I knew it was the Father. I was cocooned in a brilliantly white, warm, peaceful embrace. My hands were glowing hot and I knew instantly that I had received the gift of healing.
I would have loved to stay there forever. It was heavenly how His love flowed over and through me. This happened years ago, but I remember it as if it was a few minutes ago. In fact, over the years whenever I have…

As many of you already know, I'm self-published and currently have three books "out there". I posted this on my good friend and book reviewer Geri Ahearn's blog a little while ago...
Writing your book is definitely the easy part of an author's journey... once you have the book in your hands, getting it out to the readers, especially if you're self-published, is probably the biggest challenge that we as authors have never really thought about (I know I DEFINITELY…

I've been enjoying making hubs at HubPages. It gives me the chance to write what I want without worrying about my blogs getting hacked, which has happened to me before. Here are some of my latest projects:
These three go together:
2008 Election Clip Art
This hub not only contains free clip art; there's a presidential poll. I find it interesting that one of the candidates has been…

Hi all:
I've been traveling this month and away from my computer and book promoting but am back and ready to go!
However, I'm at a loss at what else to do on-line. I have a website, have joined several writing related organizations, am on MySpace and Gather and listed myself on various other sites. Do any of you have any tips on what worked for you regarding your book sales on-line?

My computer felt clunky this week. I ran Spybot and Norton 360 to make certain I hadn't picked up a virus. That wasn't the issue. I tried to run one of my favorite game programs and got an error message. One of my drivers was out of date. Though I searched, I couldn't find the correct driver to install. That's when I stumbled upon Driver Detective ($29.99 for two years). After running this program, I discovered that there were 24 out of date drivers on my computer and the software made it easy…

I send out a newsletter for The Circle of Friends every month to my fan base. One of the sections features another talented author. My fan base is young adults (and adults as well), so if you are an author with a book or series aimed at this group, please contact me. I'll accept any genre of YA, but it must be CLEAN.

Well, Halloween is almost here, and before we know it we'll be stuffing ourselves with turkey, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie, among many other delectable treats, I'm sure. Then, if you're like me, as I sit with my family sharing the end of the Thanksgiving holiday, the realization will hit me (like it always does) that Christmas is ONLY four weeks away...
If you're an author, you're probably always looking for places to market your books. For me, I'm lucky enough to have chosen a…

She'd wanted her father to pay more attention to her, and she'd wanted her family to be like it used to be. She hadn't wanted everything to change so drastically that she may not even survive it.
As Liza proves herself a basketball star, everyone - from college basketball recruiters to the gorgeous Kyle Reynolds - seems to take note of her. Everyone, that is, except her own father. While her father is busy at his law practice, Liza…

After two years in the theater department at Ithaca College, aspiring actor Rick Frishman ’76 was told by one of his professors a couple of things that might have sent a lesser man running off to join the circus: one, that his short stature would never land him a leading role, and two, that he just wasn’t good enough in general.
Or at least that’s how Frishman remembers it. Not one to give up on his theatrical dreams, the young man walked down the Dillingham Hall stairs to the…
