My feet are OK. The rest of me is getting old. As I approach my fiftieth birthday, I’m beginning to understand the really old guys who talk about nothing but their medications and when they last had a productive visit to the bathroom. I have determined that the warranty on the average human male body is good for 44 years. After that the wheels start flying off. Three of my tires are deflated and one wheel has no lug nuts.
It all started 4 years ago when I started wearing cheap reading… Continue

I remember my mother reading a picture book I already knew by heart. When he was home from sea duty, my father would spin stories of his childhood in the South. Sometimes he'd recite scenes from “Gone With the Wind,” changing his voice to fit each character. Okay, that may have been a little over the top. Does an eight-year-old really need to go to sleep with Scarlett's “As God is my witness” speech ringing in her… Continue

I've completed six books. Four manuscripts, and two non-fiction ebooks. The genres are: Contemporary Inspirational Romance, Children's Poetry, and two Children's Picture Books. The non-fiction ebooks:
One is for writers, the other is a 'make money' ebook-not junk. It's actual places that people can go online, sign up for free and earn money. Websites like Associated Content. I think a lot of people get overwhelmed and confused on how to earn. The best place to start earning is by doing… Continue

Author's Guide to Planning & Selling At Book Fairs and Festivals
Years ago a trusting new author set out to promote his first novel at a few book festivals over the summer. With no book festival experience and one to guide him the results were disastrous. That author was me. For the past four years while attending several book fairs and festivals in six different states I have watched many new authors make the same costly, painful mistakes, in fact some have even invented… Continue
