Generating Interest

I don't know about other authors, but, I have found it difficult to generate interest in my book, Kiss to Betrayal. I haven't been able to secure any book signings, but, plan to be on the internet radio at the end of the month. I have decided to try a blog for my book and to journal my pregnancy, maybe one day turning that into a book.

Galley Time

The lifecycle of a novel is a long one. First I submit a proposal to my editor. This usually consists of three chapters and a synopsis. If she likes what she sees, she makes my agent an offer. They haggle a bit and finally everything is agreed upon.And we're off to the races.

Do not despair. Don't be afraid. People love to read books.

Don't be afraid. No matter what is happening in the news, it's really not all that bad. People will still want to read. They will still buy books to entertain and inform them.



I see some authors pulling back on promotion. That's a mistake. You don't need to spend money to promote your books. Learn how to build your online connections and you can sell tons of books without spending a lot of money.
