Me and the G-Man

I have known Giovanni Gelati for quite some time. He's interviewed me more than once on The G-Zone BlogTalkRadio Show. We've written together (A Prince in Trenton, Seriously?). Our latest collaboration is The Defective Amish Detective - Volume 1 - The Whoopie Pie Affair. It is a humorous story, that one might call a cozy mystery. Both of us had the goal of telling a fun story, while holding the Amish with utmost respect. With the "defects" of our main character,…

Hank has had nothing but bad luck when it comes to sharing an apartment in the City. After his last male roommate put the moves on him, Hank is determined never to share space with a man again. Lighten Up!

Thanks for visiting my page! My name is Dan Farish and I've recently published a book called Lighten Up. If you're into spiritual and/or paranormal reading, this book is for you. It's "out of this world" in more ways than one.

Description -

The Feeling Of Being Free

Just thinking, how does it feel to be free, to have that physical, emotional, mental, spiritual freedom. Is it the same feeling of a prisoner free from jail, prisoner of war released by his captors, the young adult reaching adulthood getting that freedom to go out till late, an abused spouse ,finally free from abusive relationship, a confession made by a murderer, a sinner repenting. Will all these describe the feeling? If the truth were to be said,all those are just placebos of freedom.…

Poem: Determination

O Lord, I have purposed in my spirit

to sing of Your greatness and mercy!

Before You I humbly bow and kneel;

with my tongue, I exalt only Thee!

The enemy constantly surrounds me;

my joy they look to slyly steal.

You are my Maker and I’m the clay,

previously molded upon Thy Potter’s wheel.

Since Your words drip from my heart,

no longer can I remain silent.

Use me to write this poetry, filled…

with messages that are “heaven sent”.

Stand…

Poem: Unwavering

O my Lord, my eyes are fixed on you;

nothing else matters or blocks my view.

I’ve purposed to set my heart on Thee,

knowing that You have a vision for me.

Remove these silly, earthly distractions

that interfere with our intimate connection.

I’ve been released from shadows of anonymity;

my future is certain, bound solely by Thee.

My desire has been renewed with holy fire;

teach me even more, before my life transpires.

You continue to sustain me with Thy…
