Cheers to You, Lovely Lady!

Cristina Fernández de Kirchner (a beautiful Pisces woman with Moon in Taurus. Mmm, just my type!) was elected president of Argentina on Sunday, by the widest margin recorded since the 1983 elections. Argentina now joins nations like Panama, Ireland, Britain, and even Canada in electing women to their highest post.

Meanwhile, the “progressive” and “liberated” U.S. still trips over itself, trying to shed its closet-misogynistic, Christian white male fetish while ardently adhering to… Continue

Author on virtual book tour looking for feedback

I have a client who stopped by the Independent Book Report today and asked the following question. If you have time, can you leave her your thoughts. This blog allows for anonymous comments.

Thanks.

Cheryl

"Good morning! Thanks for hosting me today at Independent Book Report. I'm about half-way through my tour and enjoying every minute of it. I had a question at my last stop that I thought I'd ask here today.

Does reading in my bio that I write Christian fiction…

the Residence Life staff at the college where I once worked. When I heard about

this same concept for self-employed business owners from Chris Barrow of

The Business Coaching…

Book Signing Tip - Stand up!

Sit as little as possible at your book signing. It’s funny that after we go to all this work writing a book, promoting it and then we think a book event is a good time to sit down and rest. You can rest later!

Walk around and talk with people. Stack up your books on a pile on the table so that you can sign the top one comfortably. Then you will save your neck while talking to people one-on-one too!

Smile and offer them something they can’t turn down……

HOLLYWOOD

HOLLYWOOD

Nobody conceived it. Nobody intended it.

It emerged.

Somehow.

Like a third breast on a clandestine woman.

Somewhere.

In a barren, sun baked Southern California sandbox. Spawned by notions, dreams and lust. They called it:

HOLLYWOOD

Imagine...

The world's greatest Marionette Theater. Where heaven and hell overlap. Where devils dance with saints.

Where Beauty and the Beast… Continue

A Press Release and Article Service That Links to Your Books at Amazon, B&N, and Others

A well written press release or article to lots of online services is a great idea (See Peter Jones' Forum article on this topic), but look for those services that provide direct links to both your website and your book.
