Poem: Connected to Hope?

Can you really expect to cope,

if you’re not connected to Hope?

Faith in Christ is a requisite;

let’s not be… overly delicate

in discussing this matter today;

He alone is the Life, Truth and Way!

Our need for a real relationship

with Him, pushes us towards kinship;

after all, we’re to be joint-heirs

and strive to be spiritually aware

of our Heavenly responsibilities!…

Poem: In the Direction of Joy and Hope

Do you know what Christian Hope is?

Is it a proper, confident expectation

of future, good things, yet to come?

Are you fully grounded on the tenets

of Faith, as part of a holy nation?

Can you share the Gospel with others?

Why is Christ’s death considered news?

Is the work of God regenerating in you?

Do you know of the sacred promises given?

Are you living Life… with Faith infused?

Do you expect that Christ will return?

Have you…

Poem: Gateway of Hope

God can convert my valley of trouble

into an unstoppable gateway of Hope!

With gladness and joy, I still know

that He gives me strength to cope…

with the issues of the current day.

By the grace of God, I’ve been saved;

therefore, I’ve been set free from

the sin that draws me to the grave

and claims my interim, dust covering.

Quenching the dryness of my existence,

Christ’s grace allowed me to succumb

to the pressure of Faith’s…

Hope

Friedrich Nietzsche on HOPE:

"Zeus did not want man to throw his life away, no matter how much the other evils might torment him, but rather to go on letting himself be tormented anew. To that end, he gives man hope. In truth, it is the most evil of evils because it prolongs man's torment."

Poem: Lasting Hope (sequel to New Age Spirituality)

Satan is a defeated foe

although he continues to fight -

For we are more than conquerors,

as soldiers in God's army of Light.

His earthly authority has been weakened

since Christ now possesses the keys of Death and Hell;

so we're to prayerfully "stand in the gap"

as we in His Presence strive to dwell.

Our lasting Hope is embodied by Christ alone;

He died to prove His Love as a friend.

Willingly and sacrificially He laid down His… Continue

Natural Disasters Lift Writer's Block

I wrote my book Realm of Hope in 7 days. Hurricane Ike left us with no electricity or contact with outside world. Every night during this time I had a dream that played out like a movie and the next day I went outside, sat on the patio and wrote down everything that I remembered. After the 7 days were up, I had a completed book.

This is my first novel and it goes wide release March 5 and I will be doing book signing around Arkansas. My Screenplay is now in the hands of Robert… Continue

Daria Rose and The Day She Chose Just Published Best Positive Children's book on creating their own happiness

“There are people who put their dreams in a little box and say, "Yes, I've got dreams, of course I've got dreams." Then they put the box away and bring it out once in awhile to look in it, and yep, they're still there. These are great dreams, but they never even get out of the box. It takes an uncommon amount of guts to put your dreams on the line, to hold them up and say, "How good or how bad am I?" That's where courage comes in.”

Falling Flat On Your Face

Falling Flat On Your Face

August 13th, 2008

Do you know what the difference is between those who fall flat on their faces and those who never do? Those who fall flat where actually trying to do something! I have done a lot of reading about successful people. The thing that stands out to me over and over is that they all fell flat many times. The things they wanted seemed out of reach. They did not have what they needed to reach their goals- or so it seemed. They failed a lot.… Continue
