My non-fiction book for writers will be completed this week. When I have done case studies on the book, it will be ready to sell. If you are a writer who has trouble selling a lot of books, you will want this ebook. There are so
many ways to sell a book, but are you familiar with the
best ways to sell one? Our job is to write books and, of course sell them, but selling should not be a 9-5 job. If it is, there is a problem.
I have learned from a handful of the best…

The Obrero Gang
By Ben Furman
The Obrero Gang was Frank Durazo, Johnny Salinas and Jimmy Tag Along. The ten year olds had grown up on a nameless, carved-out street in Barrio Obrero on the outskirts of San Juan, and throughout the barrio it was well known that when one was sighted the other two would be right behind. It was time to hide the valuables.
Frank was the biggest and fastest, and he could more than hold his own with the older kids. He possessed the…

One of my friends is hosting a children's book giveaway on her blog. She is giving away two copies of each of my books. Both books are 2009 Mom's Choice Award recipient's.
The first is titled Adventures at Walnut Grove: A Lesson about Teasing. It is about treating others the way that you would like to be treated. The second book is titled I DOUBLE Dare You! and it is about taking responsibility for your own actions and not following your friends.

There is a little planet next to Pluto called PurpleUmpkin. We the folks that live there are Murples. We are the makers of Purples. It is a book for Children young and old. Parents and adults read it to Children when they are young, and about the age 5 or 6 and up, the Children read it back to parents. The pictures and colors are wonderful and great for early child development.
The book is about kindness, tolerance, understanding and love of others. The President's family book. It is…

It must be something in the air, because for the past two days I have come up with some great ideas for my next novels! Yesterday, it was just a thought that I didn't have fully fleshed out-until later that night, it ALL came together! This morning it was while I was pouring cereal into my bowl! I had the whole summary of the story mapped out by afternoon. I hope this blast of ideas will chill out for a couple of days, at least until I finish editing my novel, lol!

So I beat-up on two kids half my age and landed them in the emergency room with cracked ribs.
"What's the big deal?" You ask from the side or your mouth, not letting go of the Nintendo cruiser you clutch in your hands.
Well, the big deal is that my parents panicked and catapulted us from the our lovely home in San Francisco to the middle of nowhere in Owasso, Oklahoma. Major downer!
You sip… Continue

You’ve been waiting to hear what I did to merit a punishment as extreme as boarding school in AFRICA of all places. Okay, I’m totally gonna tell you. But bear in mind that this happened a long time ago, like when I was twelve.
At that time, I guess I must have been a really frustrated kid, full of angst and bitterness at the failing relationship between my parents.
How was I to know, at that time, that trying to be a punk was not the best of solutions to an impending family… Continue

From my eighteen to my twenty-second birthday, I feverishly produced a novel once a year. I was a creative writing major, and I was on a mission. Unfortunately, I could never convince any of the major publishing houses to accept my work.
Those days have changed. Publishers have been run out of a very difficult business. Writers have replaced them. I am one of a new generation of self-promoters who do everything ourselves, and answer to no one.
Most of my high school…
