In the summer of 2004, I had a startling, life-changing Holy Spirit encounter. Following that encounter, I became a Holy Spirit-inspired writer. I had no previous experience of book publishing, therefore when I completed my first book I had no idea of how and with whom to publish my book.
My first book is a question and answer book with me asking God the questions on behalf of the entire human race and God the Maker providing all the answers. As far as I was concerned, this makes my…

When was the last time you had a VC? Yeah, that’s right - a voice check. I had one today, yesterday and the day before that. And I’ll have one tomorrow, the next day, and the day after that, and the day after those, too. Until I become master of self, I’ll live the rest of my days engaging in VC’s. Actually, I have several VC’s throughout the day.
“Why is conducting a voice check so important”, you might ask?…

“Corporate billionaire Edward Cole and working class mechanic Carter Chambers have nothing in common except for their terminal illnesses. While sharing a hospital room together, they decide to leave it and do all the things they have ever wanted to do before they die according to their bucket list. In the process, both of them heal each other, become unlikely friends, and ultimately find joy in life.”

The Publishing War
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Cheryl_Kaye_Tardif]Cheryl Kaye Tardif
Looking for a publisher? In North America, there are hundreds of thousands of people who dream of becoming a published author. They write in their spare time, on their days off and well into the night. Most of them, however, are reluctant to step into the 'war zone' that is the publishing world. "Do I self-publish? Can I…

Lists are handy to help you stay organized. But, what if your list leads you into overwhelm instead of focus, achievement, and fulfillment?
One of my newsletter readers emailed that he was not able to focus or move forward on any of his goals, and included a list of almost thirty items he’d written down for himself, and added there was more not included. He felt overwhelmed, and this left him stuck in place. I looked at the list and immediately saw why he felt this way. His list…

One of the great things about running a radio show is the fact that not only do you have a chance to interact and learn from so many interesting people, you also get a chance to share and hopefully help listeners. My guest today on a book and a chat is one such fascinating person. Author, chat show host, and survivor

If you ever feel overwhelmed, pause for a moment and look around you. More than likely, there’s clutter in your physical (outer) space, which means there’s clutter in your inner space.…

There’s a simple way to re-focus your time and energy to get a better start and results in a new year—or any time of year—in any area of your life. Just ask yourself the two questions offered here.
Two emails I received reminded me about the principle described below. I’d already had in mind to do a similar process, but felt nudged to really “go there” using this formula.
Maybe you’ve heard of the Pareto Principle or the 80/20 Rule. It maintains that around 20 percent of…

Part III of III in this series of articles on Ponzi schemes will examine a real world, ongoing scam, the con man behind it and a few of the hundreds of investors victimized by his criminal enterprise, Millennium III Corporation.
History: At an early age, Gregg Scott Luce was falsely led to believe that his Maine based blood line was directly connected to the storied Time-Life Henry Luce legacy. It's unclear whether this fallacy was instilled within him by personal dementia or a…

Following the onset of 2009's Great Recession, one didn't need an expert to identify a confidence man and his Ponzi scheme: the outbreak was splashed across front pages of every major newspaper in the United States and abroad. Arrest and prosecution of pin stripped con men has been epidemic.
The Ponzi scheme defined is the model of simplicity: the con man uses money from new investors to pay return on investment to original investors, rather than pay out ROI from revenue earned in…

Your first step in querying a publisher should be to order the book
Writer’s Market. The book is available through Amazon.com for about $20. Writer’s Market includes 4,000 listings for book publishers, consumer magazines, trade journals, and literary agents. Most publishers’ listings in the book will tell you if they accept new authors,…

It's almost unheard of these days in publishing for an author to get a high five-figure book advance, let alone six figures.
It's difficult even to get any literary agent to take on your book, let alone one of the top literary agents in the country.
Yet one author managed to do both.
On Thursday, I'm going to grill this author, Noah St. John, on how he did this.
And YOU also get a chance to…

Copyright: How to Protect Your Work.
Some where along the way someone started the rumor that by simply writing a piece a writer automatically has the copyright--that US Copyrights are unnecessary to protect your work. I have also heard that the process is very complicated. All three are untrue. Mailing a copy to yourself and leaving it unopened to keep the postal stamp valid is call the poor man's copyright. It is a good temporary way of protecting your work, however it is only…
