Christian Teen Nonfiction

The Christian teen nonfiction book entitled Character Concert covers topics using cartoon-like drawings.  One youth chaplain said of the book: "I was very impressed with it."  Here is the Facebook page link: Christian Teen Book…

Book Discussion, sales and signing by Fay Risner October 27, 2014

Strange how things work out. The first Saturday in August, my husband and I went to town wide yard sales with his sister in State Center, Iowa. One sale we didn't want to miss was the library's garage full of books. We had a good time going through all the books. I may have my winter's supply of material…

Fellow Authors and Speakers

Fellow Authors and Speakers,

I'm in the process of putting together a Mastermind group that will meet monthly on the phone to share ideas, information and resources.

A master-mind group consists of people who work together in absolute harmony to achieve diverse goals. While these people work in harmony, they may be very different from each other. The common element is that each draws something from the others, and each…

Dr. Vijay Mallya is not your typical everyday CEO. He has made it to the Forbes billionaires’ list many number of times but he doesn’t care if he is on the list or not because he doesn’t want to be categorized as a ruthless moneymaker. He not only lives like The King of Good Times but he is working overtime to persuade others to live the high life too. Once upon a time, his critics called him the playboy of the east for his glamorous lifestyle but slowly and steadily Dr. Mallya has earned…

Well I'm Kind Of Blown Away

I have spent some time going through the letters, emails and messages I have received from friends around the world over the last month or so endorsing my new book, "The Foundations."

I knew it was needed because I couldn't find anything on the bookshop shelves that really provided for the needs of a new Christian to grow in Biblical understanding of what it meant to be a Christian and what was required in order to grow towards maturity, however I didn't really think it was that…

An introduction to the Indigo Girls

Just listened to the Indigo Girls' new CD "Happy Holly Days" and I have to say it was pretty good. This is coming from someone of course who isn't a big fan of Christmas music. If the Indigo Girls put out a CD there is no way that I can pass it up. The girls have been a huge inspiration ever since I first heard them in Peni Lotoza's car after we got out of work at Terror on Church Street back in '93. 'Blood and Fire' was the first song I had ever heard and though many had…

Start a "Women of Worth" group in your church today.

Hello Gals,

As the Author of "Women of Worth" by myself, Renee' Lovelace, I am inviting you to get to know more about "Women of Worth" and get a group started in your church today. If you already have an active women's group or bible study, consider incorporating "Women of Worth" into it.

The intention of "Women of Worth" is to bring women back to their God given roles verses society dictated roles. To address the issues, behaviors and habits that we have fallen into as… Continue

Do folks really read blogs?

I was reading a post on another network about blogging when nobody ever reads it. I guess my thought on that is at least I get some things off my chest. Yes, it takes time away from promoting and writing the next book, but maybe, just maybe, someone will read my thoughts and a kind way. Occasionally I learn something from my own blogs. LOL. Go figure!

Well, today I'm throwing out a question that I hope will be seen and answered. I… Continue
