I am very happy about this positive
book review. The funny thing is I didn't even knwo it was there! I randomly googled Janeylou -- which is the name of my main character in
Ainsworth! It was quite a shock!

I'm having a lot of fun, and finally getting back to doing some creative writing. I'm doing it as a blog novel. It's just for fun. I've been twittering it and putting it on places like stumbleupon to get readers to take a look at my writing style. Hopefully somebody out there will like it, and I've put a link on there for people to click on if they want to purchase a copy of my book Ainsworth. I wonder if anyone else has done this sort of blogging.

My husband put on a gorilla suit. I know, I know, it was worth it because we sold five books. That's five! It would have been six had the Orlando Public Library purchased a copy.
But…

I have a new thing that I do. I spend a half hour a day promoting my books. Once I have accomplished my goal of one half hour, I give myself permission not to do any more promoting that day. If I still want to I can, but I give myself permission to stop.
I do this because promoting can be such discouraging hard work with no end in sight. There is so much to do and yet so little to do. I feel like I am trying to bail out the ocean with a teaspoon. Especially since I have a small…
