Have just watched a movie - 'Kids' from 1995. Very confronting, and deals with underage sexual activity. One of the characters is diagnosed HIV positive. This is the most depressing movie I have seen since 'Hunger'. But I don't mind a depressing movie occasionally. Life is not all beer and skittles. But right now I'm ready to go and stick my head in the toilet.

I'm doing paid work today, ie, NOT writing. Caught a little bit of breakfast television today, an interview with Justin Beiber. I am aware he has either written, or is in the process of writing his autobiography. What I find galling, and I daresay other authors will find galling, is that fact that his book (and how big can his autobiography be? I've been looking online at local libraries and book clubs to plug my new novel 'Abernethy' - young adult fiction. Not back from the printer yet. But got to get that ball rolling, hey? My new novel is my first foray into Young Adult, and I've enjoyed it. I've just uploaded a photo of the front page of my novel 'Calumny while reading Irvine Welsh' to my page on this site. Oh, how I'm enjoying my foray into the 21st century.
