Hey everyone! My short story was a winner for the Goodreads YA fiction contest, and I wanted to say thank you! The story is below! Let me know what you think!
Meet The Reaper
I always said I would die in snow. God, I hated that stuff. Pounds and pounds of icy-cold crap that everyone in town called ‘pretty’ and ‘lovely.’ There was nothing pretty about it. And that old adage about sitting in front of a roaring fire…

There is a place - a very special place - located in Glastonbury, a small town in Somerset, England. A place that comes up in many conversations, books and movies. This is not a surprise. After all, the myths and legends that have always surrounded this small community are numerous and well-known.
For Christians, it is believed that Glastonbury is where…

When readers and historians go back in time to discover the monumental secrets that were stored inside the greatest hiding places of all time, they will be amazed to learn that the most ‘treasured secrets’ were stored in the depths of a library.

Could Robert Pattinson be Gareth Lowery? Maybe now that the fangs are on their way out - an Indiana Jones-esque part would be just right!
Leah Tallent is in love. She's in love with the New York Public Library. The young librarian loves everything about the library - the building, the history, the two lion statues guarding…

It has been a long time since the name Aleister Crowley has been brought up in the fiction world, but once a person reads even a ‘snippet’ of who and what Aleister Crowley was, they will head directly to Google, or their local library, to try and find out exactly what he was doing down on earth in the first place.
Crowley has been called a genius…

My first experience with ‘Women’s Lib’ came when I was around seventeen years old. My boyfriend at the time was a young man who hadn’t annoyed me that much…yet, but he was, in a word, useless. I was working a forty hour week, just out of high school, wanting to make as much money as I could in order to hit the road and get as far away from my hometown as humanly possible. Of course, seeing as that I was living in…

My Dad had sports, and Mom had the comics. My sister usually looked for “sales.” Me? I always thought it was better staying with the stories in my own head, considering the outside world was like one 24/7 nightmare. (Not much has changed,…
