Scams – Beware of the Swarming Sharks

Trust takes a long time to gain and a second to lose.

I know—I’ve been burned. Thankfully, I turned to the Internet and Googled myself silly. While on the world wide web (www), I discovered there are so many of us that are supportive and in the same boat.

What a wonderful feeling to belong in a community of caring people.

Unfortunately, there are those who have not been so lucky. They’ve become a victim of a scammer.… Continue

A Letter Worth Saving

This letter sits in the special section of my purse, hangs with scotch tape draped over my computer tower, and the words will remain forever in my heart.

This letter was sent to me last week by Jay Miller, my first client at Premium Promotional Services.

I want to share this letter with YOU…

Seven weeks ago, I spoke with the Lord.

“Lord,” I said. “I have done what you have asked me to do in writing and… Continue

Making the Switch

Do you still comment on other blogs, network, and spend time on chat lines, like you use to?

The idea to network and be sociable will remain strong in my veins. After all, the foundation to ‘promotion’ is establishing relationships. Yet, over the past several months, I’ve noticed I’m dedicating less time to the faucets in my life that use to be my one and only passion.

So the answer is… “no”.

For some reason, I… Continue

Blogging: A Delicious Post Devoured In One Bite

How do I combine great needed content and infuse my post with perspective and background to make it real for the reader?

Too many writers who blog only serve the fried hamburger. Sure, I’ll attract the hungry viewers, but once they’re full, they’ll linger away. Unless they’re starving, chances are…they’ll never return. They’ll probably discover a better meal down the road.

I can eat fried hamburger, but I find it… Continue

*Calling ALL grandparents, parents, uncles, aunts…all who have precious young children*

What is the best gift you can give?

Whenever I was talking with children and asked them this question, there was always an assortment of answers. When the child was finished sharing and asked for my answer, I’d faithfully respond: *Time*

There’s nothing better than spending time with children. Having them jump on my lap and sink into my chest, to excitingly anticipate a story told by grandpa.

Wondering… Continue
