The Sterley’s of Oakland Park a classic regency novel in the making

This particular novel started out life as a spoof on Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice for the 2007 National writer’s month competition



However this work has turned out to be so successful in its own right that I have self published it on lulu.com.

What can one say about ones work?

I have great ideas about writing I can write for hours on end about far away places and times, but when it comes to marketing I have to admit I am downright stumped.



It would seem like a form of writers block however it is not strictly the case it seems more like a case of not knowing how to blow ones trumpet.



Now I will be the first to admit that I am not a man without sin but blowing my trumpet is not one of my sins at least I don’t think so.
