The Candy Man

Dean Corll loved candy. In the mid-1950s, when Dean was a kid, his mother opened a candy shop in Houston. Dean helped her make the candy. Years later, Houstonites dubbed him The Candy Man, because he gave local children free candy.

But he had sinister motives. Between 1970 and 1970, Dean Corll, aided by two accomplices, raped, tortured and killed at least 28 boys. …

Here's an update on that Afghani girl who was shot in the head by the Taliban. Malala is out of the hospital and speaking out once again!  But there is also bad news. I waited a while after the massacre in the Colorado movie theater to write a post about it. I thought things would die down. But the mass murders haven't stopped. Since that day (July 20, 2012) three more shootings happened in August. There will probably be more. Why?

Since the theater massacre, firearms sales are booming. During the first four days after the shooting, gun dealers in Colorado, submitted 3,647 requests for state background checks. And that's just…

You're the One That I Want!

The title song of Olivia Newton-John's album Physical was the #1 hit on the billboard charts in 1981.

But that brought her little comfort. Two deadly stalkers were after her.

One killed a dog and sent its teeth to another celebrity.

In 1978 Olivia had starred with John Travolta in the blockbuster hit movie, Grease. Two songs from the film became huge hits: Hopelessly Devoted To You, and You're The One That I Want.

But I Loved him ...

Dawnette Knight was obsessed with Michael Douglas. She claims to have met the actor in 2002 at a party in Florida.
