Public speaking as book marketing

When people list their fears, one phobia tops even death—public speaking. However, that’s exactly what I do to introduce people to my books. I present writers’ workshops at national and regional conferences. I give talks to readers’ groups and speak to library associations. Writing a winning query letter

It's not enough to finish the manuscript. We also have to market the book to editors and agents. The first step is a query. I posted a sample query letter on my blog in the hope that it might help aspiring writers see what I do. Please pop over and take a peek.
