Writers and Authors wants to know about Linda Ballou

A great interview discussing the difficulty of marketing your books when you write in two different genres.

What genre do you write and why?

That is a conundrum. My proudest achievement is my historical novel Wai-nani, A Voice from Old Hawai’i. However, it was a great pleasure to travel the world collecting stories for my travel…

Around the World TV spotlights my "Un-Cruise Adventure"

I'm not a cruise person, but when I was offered the chance to tour the Hawaiian Islands on board a yacht shared by 36 other passengers I began to change my mind. Then when I learned the trip on the Safari Explorer begins in Lanai, one of the few Hawaiian Islands I've not explored and  then heads to Molokai where guests hike the sacred Halawa Valley I got excited. The next stop is the Big Island and a walking tour of historic Kailua/Kona district.. Since, I have just completed creating a map…

Something for Everybody at the North Fork Ranch

Just in from a boot scootin' adventure at the North Fork Ranch nestled in the Platter River Valley in Southwest Colorado

Aspen leaves spinning in a stout wind rattled like castanets. I found shelter beneath the spreading arms of an ancient spruce from the intense sun on a ledge overlooking the Platte River Valley. The ceaseless chatter of the river on…

New Look for Lost Angel Walkabout-One Traveler's Tales

Not sure this is right place to share this message, but I want everyone to know what a superlative job Jay M Horne did for me converting my book Lost Angel Walkabout-One Traveler's Tales and uploading it on all the e-book distribution channels. Not only did he do that for an incredibly good price, he fixed my not "quite right" cover and gave it the sizzle it was lacking. Terrific job! Find him on Authorsden.com under Market Place, or just email him at [elventesai@gmail.com] I can't say enough… Continue
