Have you ever tried something and fell flat on your face? I don’t mean a little stumble, I mean a great big belly flop mess? Well, try again. get back up, dust yourself off, find out where you went wrong and try again! It does not matter how much you failed, the only thing that matters is if you got back up! Let me give you an example from the Bible.

In the Old Testament David was trying to bring the Ark of God back to its rightful place. He rushed headlong in and did it the wrong way. It resulted in a death. (How is that for messing up?) Yet David still knows that WHAT he was trying to do was right, he just went about it the wrong way. So he backs up and retraces his steps. he fixes the problem, and tries again.

The Bible tells us in I Chronicles that the Ark was then moved with singing, dancing, and JOY!! When David got the steps right it resulted in not just success, but JOY!!

So try again. Think about what you did wrong, learn from it, then try again.

David was not doing anything wrong in wanting to move the Ark. He just went about it the wrong way. What you dream of doing may be the exact right thing, but you have been going about it the wrong way. Back-up, make a new plan and try again. Do you remember that old song about the ant trying to move the rubber tree plant? ” Oops there goes another rubber tree plant!!”

Get busy! You have a great life to live! The world is waiting! Hugs, Barbara
