Author H. Court Young to speak at Solutions for Water Economy conference
Denver – July 9, 2008 – BurgYoung Publishing, LLC, a book publishing company, announced today that one of its authors, H. Court Young, will be speaking at The Solutions for the Water Economy Conference being held in San Francisco on August 5, 2008.

The Solutions for the Water Economy conference is being presented by IncreMental Advantage (http://www.incrementaladvantage.com) based in Princeton, New Jersey. According to the conference overview:

“The imbalance of supply and demand for water is resulting in strife. Internationally, water scarcity is one of the factors behind the hostility between Israel and Lebanon. Within the United States, the drought is sparking interstate litigation: Alabama and Florida recently won a court victory over Georgia; the US Supreme Court recently ruled that Montana could pursue a lawsuit against neighboring Wyoming over water use; and, Nevada is at the mercy of water flowing from the Colorado River.
This seminar is designed to help water professionals and regulators find solutions to the growing imbalance between supply and demand for water availability.”

Mr. Young will be one member of a panel discussing both intra and interstate disputes involving water. His session, Drawing the Battle Lines Among the States, is scheduled to begin at 4:15 pm on August 5, 2008.

Other topics being discussed at this conference include:

• Impact of Climate Change on Water Availability
• Supply Issues Confronting Water Availability
• Water Conservation Strategies

BurgYoung Publishing features three water books written by Mr. Young. Understanding Water Rights and Conflicts, Second Edition, (softcover, 337 pages, $19.95), helps readers understand the reasons that water supply and availability are so critical to our quality of life and why that quality of life may be threatened in the coming years. Understanding Water and Terrorism (softcover, 258 pages, $14.95) explores the potential terrorist threat to our nations water supply infrastructure. Practical Guide to Water Supply and Terrorism (softcover, 167 pages, $14.95) is a reference for water suppliers designed to help them understand and implement ways to safeguard their water supply and protect their customers from terrorist attack.
