Jesus Loves U

Your love, O Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies.
Psalm 36:5

The boys and I are in Orlando this week, taking a bit of a vacation. Bobby couldn't get the week off, with his new job, but since we had already booked our week, I decided I would bring the boys myself, which is a major accomplishment in itself. Just a few years ago, I would never take off somewhere with the boys for a week, by myself, but that might be another story for another day.

Yesterday morning we were heading to Sea World. As we drove along, we noticed an airplane writing in the sky. There was a bit of traffic on the road, so we had plenty of time to see what the message said.

It was the coolest thing, a smiley face, then the words, JESUS LOVES U. It was spread out in the sky, right in front of us as we drove along.

I was so thankful for that pilot for reminding me of the love that Jesus has for me. Away from home, on my own and yet there it was, right in my face, a wonderful message, just for me.

Life can be a bit of a challenge somedays, but God's love for us never fades, it never falters. He is always there.

I don't know what you are going through today, but I wanted to give you some encouragement:

Father, thank you for your unconditional, unfailing love. Lord, the world may love me for a time, but it is always dependent on circumstances. But not you. Father, you loved me when I was not deserving, you loved me first. Thank you for the wonderful reminder you gave to me yesterday, it truly did put a smile on my face.
