I Will Take Door Number Two

There is one thing that I have no tolerance for and that is anyone that harms or attempts to harm a child. Recently there was a girl who was found after being missing for nearly a year. The circumstances surrounding her being found were really quite bazaar. Police went to a home in West Hartfard ,conneticut Wednesday to serve search warrants for DNA and other evidence and found the girl locked inside a tiny room hidden underneath a staircase and blocked from view by a dresser. Police did not identify the girl, but said she had sometimes run away from home before she vanished last June.

I was deeply confused when not one but three people were arrested for the being responsible for the girls kidnapping. Police arrested Adam Gault and 40-year-old Ann Murphy, described by police as Gault's common-law wife. Another woman who lived in the home, 26-year-old Kimberly Cray, also was arrested. I found it hard to believe that three adults especially two women were aware of the girl being in the house and not doing anything about it. The only thing I can think of is that these women were being manipulated in some way by the 41 year old man that prevented them from going to the police. There was also a fifteen year old boy found in the home but who’s child he was was not established yet. Stories like this confirms my belief that it is very important to make sure we are doing every thing we can to be mentally,emotionally, and spiritually healthy. My spirit is definitely troubled.
