The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

Every day is an adventure. Now that I've released a number of wheel spinning projects from my life, I once again have time to write, to read, and to think. I have time to surf the internet for fun. Most importantly, I can turn my computer off at a reasonable hour each day, leave the office, and enjoy my family, friends, and time. The dog and I are once again taking long, daily walks and I'm getting caught up on movies I wanted to see, but never made time to enjoy.

By creating more time in my day I find I'm also moving slower. I'm thinking more before I do things allowing me to not have to redo so many things. The upside of this change is that I'm writing more. I have time to explore characters and settings (in both my fiction and nonfiction) which is helping me to craft better word combinations and create more satisfying experiences on the page.

Here's a little advice for anyone who, like me, allowed their writing life to take over their entire life: rest, relax, and spend some time without an agenda, goal, or to-do list in hand. Because, if you are like me, you'll see your writing improve along with your quality of life.

Keep Moving Forward!

~Gregory
