Register to vote today! Take your place in history!

Register to vote today! Take your place in history!

People used to justify not being registered to vote by saying "my vote won't make a difference." After the 2000 U.S. Presidential election in which the outcome was decided by about 500 Florida votes, I can't believe anyone would fix their lips to utter that phrase again.

However, if by chance you have not yet registered to vote in the 2008 general election, I have included the registration deadlines here (courtesy of rockthevote.com) for the 2008 U.S. Presidential general election on Tuesday November 4th. To be eligible to vote on 11/4, you must be registered by the date below in your home state.

Apathy is unacceptable in this election! As one particularly eloquent candidate often says, "Not this time!" Either you are taking your place in history or you are standing in its way. Regardless of how you cast your ballot, I hope you choose the former.
