More awards!

Both my book and my first blog, "Never too Late!" won first place awards in their respective categories in the Illinois Woman's Press Association's Mate E. Palmer Communications Contest for 2007. Both were then sent on to the parent National Womens Press Foundation's contest, and to my surprise, I just learned that both were winners at the national level.

"Never too Late!" was a first place winner in the "Web Writing, Personal" category, and my book, Reinventing Myself: Memoirs of a Retired Professor, won third place in the "Nonfiction: Biography/Autobiography" category. I hope to travel to the NWPF conference in Richmond, VA, in September to receive my awards!
