Virtual book tour blog/site hosts needed!

I'm a Canadian author with a new novel out and in August I am holding my first ever virtual book tour (VBT). I am looking for hosts for my tour, which is frankly a bit intimidating. I'd be happy to "appear" on your site on a specific day in August, if you'll have me.

This is what's in it for my wonderful hosts:

* I will advertise my VBT in many ways--online on various sites and blogs, in bookstore fliers, in press releases submitted by my publicist, on TV and radio, and in newspapers and magazines. I will be driving new and more traffic to your website/blog. :)

* You will have fresh new content for your site. I will provide bio info, pics of books and self, an interview (I can write the complete interview or you can ask the questions).

* You can even use the interview and info in a newsletter afterward if you need content.

* I can have my publisher provide a review copy of Whale Song to qualified reviewers (hosts who are professional reviewers for magazines (print and online) or newspapers, NYT's bestselling authors, TV or radio personalities, actors, singers/musicians, journalists etc.) You could then post a review on your site/blog on the same day we schedule you for the tour or even the day before.

* All my fabulous hosts will have their names entered into a contest. I will be giving away a copy of Whale Song, Divine Intervention and The River, 1 copy to 3 hosts. You could use them as giveaways on your site later or keep them for your personal collection.

* I have randomly marked my calendar (August) and will announce a book giveaway to visitors of your site/blog if you happen to pick that date. You can collect email addys however you prefer and select a winner and I will mail them an autographed copy of one of my novels, plus a bookmark.

* All hosts will have their links added to my sites and blogs.

* And you'll have my deepest gratitude and heartfelt thanks forever! :)

How it works:

You pick a day in August that will best suit you. Email me at cherylktardif@shaw.ca and let me know you'd like that date and what kind of traffic you get at your site. Once it's confirmed, I'll let you know, and I'll tell you if you picked one of the giveaway days.

In late July, I will advertise my "appearance" on your site for that date. I will provide you with my bio, pics, interview well in advance.

On the morning of my tour date with you or the night before, you'll post all the info, with links to my sites and blog. You can post to any newsletters the day after, if you choose.

Other than that, we all have a lot of fun; and we help each other mutually!
