A NEW WAY TO USE NING.COM FOR BOOK MARKETING?

We are always looking for new way

s to promote our books and activities. I am trying an experiment. I have created the following Ning.com site http://philipharrisliteraryworks.ning.com/ It is still a work in progress but I am using it as a basic web site for my books and activities. Ning has some good features that lends it it to an author site. This is not really a new group. It is a place where my friends and readers can interact with me and see what I am writing and what I am doing. I hope I am being a little creative in using the Ning features like forum and blog spaces to post information about my books, reviews, etc. People can stop by and leave a comment and be a friend and connect with me and I will respond to any comments.

If anyone wants to swing by I would love to have you say hello and leave a comment. This does not replace my activities on this and other Ning sites but rather adds to the whole concept of personal connections.

Hope you get a chance to say hello and let me know if you think this is a good way to build a web site and connect with others.
