Feeling attacked?

A friend just called and said, "I'm being attacked from all sides, wish I could go under my covers and hide."

Hiding is not a bad idea. But where you hide makes a huge difference. The effects of problems will still find you unless you hide in the secure place my friend Kris writes about:

"You are my hiding place from every storm of life; You even keep me from getting into trouble!

You surround me with songs of victory." (Psalm 32:7, TLB)

Lord, You are the One I seek when I am subject to tribulations, for You are my Refuge. I am comforted knowing You will help me through all situations, and that trouble can't find me when my eyes are fixed on You...Thank You for keeping me safe when I am faithful and obedient - Thank You for being my hiding place.

I can't be distracted by trouble

When my eyes are fixed on the One

Who leads me from suffering and sorrow

And shows me how battles are won.

I'm surrounded with songs of vict'ry

When I walk side by side with the Lord.

He shows me the places where glory

Is honored and can't be ignored.

Thank You for Your sweet songs of victory, Lord...in Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

And, from your hiding place, you can sing victory when you can recognize the problem, but rebuke its effect.
