Did you ever have something happen exactly when you needed it? The timing, though unexpected, seemed to be perfect?

I had one of those moments this past Thursday. Feeling a bit overwhelmed with writing commitments, I wondered if what I write has impacted anyone lately. You know what I mean? Times when Satan spits lies hoping you’ll sink in the sand of doubt?

I was battling with that very thing when these lovely messages popped in my in-box:

"Hi, I have no idea whom to write or contact regarding today's Crosswalk devotional by Janet Eckles. If at all possible, I would appreciate it if you could forward this e-mail on to her.

I am so thankful for today's devotional! Wow! What excellent writing, what an excellent message, what a wonderful application. Keep writing!

May the Lord grant you His greatest blessings and grace as you serve Him and share Him uniquely. What a blessing for me today. Thank you!"—Susan

The next three comments came from the Proverbs 31 blog site:

"Thank you for sharing your experience of blindness with us in this way. I got a good laugh but you certainly got your point across with a lot of punch.”

“An unusual perspective but very helpful. It reminds me to make sure that I am tuned to what God's solutions are for me today."

"A very well written devotion today. Grammatically correct, it was also personal, witty, challenging, and interesting. Congrats!"

"My family is going through a difficult time right now and it was encouraging to read your devotional. Thank-you I really appreciated it!"

As I received other similar comments, I leaned back in my chair, sighed with delight at God’s lovely nudge that whispered, "Keep on going, I’m leading."

And if you’re interested in reading the devotional that prompted such feedback, here’s the link.
