The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

When trying to get word out on the street about a book signing or event, consider sending out online press releases. You'd think that people would read them and they do of course but ultimately, it makes you a searchable subject. Many allow you to put in keywords. It's a way for more links to come up with you in a typical search engine search.

But if you really want to get something out of your press releases, find the media around the book signing area or even in the State or a tie-in of some kind and start emailing your press releases to the appropriate people.

Use the tagline such as, Dear So and So:

I thought you'd find this press release interesting. This author has a local tie-in to your area and will be doing a book signing. Then, thank them and put down your name. Below this, paste a copy of your press release.

A lot of times you will end up in the community events area.
