Free Help for Writers...the kindness of strangers who turn into friends

Hi my little "peeps" -- I have no idea {yet} how to branch out and send an email to all the new authors or those who have questions so I'm hoping that through each of YOU and your "peeps," you will “Pass It On”!

The note below is from Dave, an absolutely wonderful guy from Oz, who has jumped in and helped numerous times on my other "blogspot."

He's quite renowned and it's so clear that he wants to help us out. I only know him through his helping in cyberspace and when I received his modest email offering help to new writers, I was surprised at his humbleness. It just reminded me that it is so much easier to give than to receive...I wonder if that's a foundational belief that dis-allows us to truly love OURSELVES first!! Mmmmhhhh?

Anyway, if you would forward it on to those who could use his generosity, that would be awesome!

G'day, ladies and gents,

In view of the fact that all bloggers are writers (but not vice versa!) I recently started a daily post on tips for writers, called `Telling Write From Wrong'.

I would like this to become a central point for writers of any description, any nationality, any age and any interest, to get honest advice from an experienced writer. They can leave their questions as comments - and I will answer them.

Here are some questions that you might want to ask me, and my anticipated answers:

· ·Is he just trying to publicise his own blog?

No, I'm trying to create a groundswell across the globe to let other writers benefit from my experience in journalism, editing and writing novels. I don't know of any other successful novelist who does this.

· ·What are his technical qualifications?

I've written a bestselling novel. I've been a writer and editor for 30 years. In 2002 I was one of three finalists in the national Walkley Awards (the Aussie equivalent of a Pulitzer) and in 2005, I was shortlisted for a National News Award.

It is my aim to help as many writers as possible!
