The Best For Last

How could such a precious vessel

remain so quiet and overlooked

when the light of God's anointing

shines so brightly from each root?

Your lifestyle speaks so loudly

you don't have to say a word—

It's the walk that you walk, and

how you carry yourself

that is always so easily heard.

It's the charisma of your style, and

the essence of your beauty

that others want to emulate,

But no matter how hard they try

they'll never be able to imitate.

The Lord sweetly spoke into my ears, and said,

He said. "We've been in battle for so long, and

it just wasn't time yet,

to use you any sooner would've been wrong,

But there's a special day and hour

when your gifts will come forth, and

the demons will be much more strong."

He said, "You don't use your good weapons

on the practice field, but

you wait until you get to the war,

Then and only then will the demons flee

never to return anymore.

So my precious child is noticed,

but solely in my eyes.

She's some of my greatest work,

my most treasured and valued prize.

But since you were concerned

and so genuinely asked,
