Basic Editing Basic spelling and grammar editing with special attention to detail and commitment to helping you get the professional results you want and your book deserves. $2.00 per page

In Depth Reading and Analysis Detailed feedback will be given to writer concerning the plot development, character descriptions and development, and pacing. Includes Basic Editing services. $3.00 per page

Interior Layout Each work is given individual attention for the layout that best fits the work's length, content, and the artistic goals of the author. This service also includes page numbering, page margins, page justification, and chapter/ sub-chapter header formatting.

$1.00 per page if document is sent in proper manuscript form and is available to be opened using Microsoft Office or Word.

$2.00 per page if document is incompatible computer format or not in manuscript form.

Cover Design

Each work is given individual attention for the layout that best fits the work's length, content, and the artistic goals of the author.
Simple format with one image supplied by author $75.00

Advanced formatting with quality photo supplied by JPP $150.00

Hand Illustrated format – outsourced to artists $85.00/hour

ISBN Registration/ See Publishing Packages

Authors can register their works through Jakaylah Paperback Publishing while retaining all Copyrights from the published items. Books will be published under the company of Jakaylah Paperback Publishing. Books will be printed with ISBN number on a barcode. Items will be placed on the Jakaylah Paperback Publishing website for sale. Book will be listed on several major online book suppliers and three national bookstores. Books must be submitted for review for this service.

Copyright Registration

Fill out a simple e-mail form and Jakaylah Paperback Publishing will fill out all necessary paperwork and payment to obtain the writer's Copyright from the US Copyright Office; and send the official copyright certificate to the writer upon receipt of documentation.

Although a work is LEGALLY copyrighted once forms and payments are received by the US Copyright Office, it may take up 6 months to receive the actual documentation from the office due to large numbers of submissions received.
Service fee + fees for copyright $55.00 per copyright requested

Printing will be dependent upon length of work, size of book, and type of shipment preferred.

Publishing Packages

Bronze Publishing Packages

(Minimum order 100-500 copies on first print run with minimum of 50% distributed by Jakaylah Paperback Publishing) 10 free copies to you for personal sales. Additional personal sale copies for cost of printing only. Jakaylah will offer you one on one editing sessions via e-mail or telephone with your personal editor. Custom book layout appropriate for your book. Custom basic cover design. Double page and cover proofs, PDF proof and hardcopy proof. Book registrations: ISBN, EAN barcode, Listing in Bowker's Books in Print, and listing with several online bookstores. Distribution with Alibris Websites, Alibris for Libraries, Borders, Books-a-Million, Chapters/ Indigo, and Ingram. You will retain all copyright and authors rights and will be listed as the copyright owner on the copyright page. Option to cancel publishing agreement at anytime and no further obligations to Jakaylah Paperback Publishing. 70% of all sales are paid to you on a quarterly basis from all online and store front bookstores. Additional marketing for bronze publishing package: 100 book marks, and 250 business cards. $500.00 + initial print cost.

Silver Publishing Packages

(Minimum order 550-1000 copies on first print run with minimum of 50% distributed by Jakaylah Paperback Publishing) 15 free copies to you for personal sales. Additional personal sale copies for 85 % cost of printing. One on one editing sessions via e-mail or telephone with your personal editor. Custom book layout appropriate for your book. Custom advanced cover design. Double page and cover proofs, PDF proof and hardcopy proof. Book registrations: ISBN, EAN barcode, Listing in Bowker's Books in Print, and listing with several online bookstores. Distribution with Alibris Websites, Alibris for Libraries, Borders, Books-a-Million, Chapters/ Indigo, and Ingram. You will retain all copyright and authors rights and will be listed as the copyright owner on the copyright page. Option to cancel publishing agreement at anytime and no further obligations to Jakaylah Paperback Publishing. 80% of all sales are paid to you on a quarterly basis from all online and store front bookstores. Additional marketing for silver publishing package: Basic author's page with personal domain for 6 month period, 500 book marks, and 500 business cards. $750.00 + initial print cost.

Gold Publishing Packages

(Minimum order 1050 or more copies on first print run with minimum of 50% distributed by Jakaylah Paperback Publishing) 20 free copies to you for personal sales. Additional personal sale copies for 75% cost of printing. One on one editing sessions via e-mail or telephone with your personal editor. Custom book layout appropriate for your book. Custom advanced cover design. Double page and cover proofs, PDF proof and hardcopy proof. Book registrations: ISBN, EAN barcode, Listing in Bowker's Books in Print, and listing with several online bookstores. Distribution with Alibris Websites, Alibris for Libraries, Borders, Books-a-Million, Chapters/ Indigo, and Ingram.
