For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

While I hate the time change that occurs every fall (causing darkness to fall around 5 PM -- yuck!), I look forward to November and December because that's when I take 2 weeks of vacation time each year. Traditionally, I take off the week of the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday and take off the week between Christmas and New Year's Day.

This year Eric and I are headed to the Texas Gulf Coast in Galveston for our Turkey Day. We took this same holiday a few years ago and had a great time, as Galveston has a number of events and activities over Thanksgiving weekend.

We'll be staying at an older hotel, Commodore on the Beach, where all the rooms have a Gulf view. Now, I just hope our Indian summer-like weather holds and it doesn't turn rainy and cold, as it often does at this time of the year.

I'm looking forward to enjoying a margarita on the balcony of our room and watching the sunset..:)

I could be thorough and go ahead and prepare a newsletter for next week, but I'm going to take a break from that, as well, so I'll see you again on Nov. 29th.
