1) Lots of literary endeavors this week.  First of all, I am continuing my Monday, Wednesday, Friday blogs with new pieces on The Isms and Addictions that Effect our Lives and I have joined CatholicMom.com and Catholic365.com. Stop in and visit some time.  They are wonderful sites chalk full of interesting posts about family, faith, world events, and reflections on life and culture.

3) Georgios I – Hidden Heritage is coming closer to final publication. We are working on some really wonderful covers – well actually my superbly talented designer is doing all the actual work – I’m just smiling.

Georgios Cave 24) Along with being blessed with a superb designer I am also blessed to have one of the world’s best editors working on Georgios II – A Chosen People. If you think I am just full of hyperbole you should see their work.

5) I have put my next historical fiction novel set in the fifth century, Melchior, into a publishing contest.  We’ll see.  I don’t expect to win – but honorable mention would be nice.

7) I’ve got some short stories in contests and I am reworking a short piece to fit in an anthology.  Though I can’t say I am an abundantly talented writer – I can say that I enjoy writing for all the insight it offers me.  “We write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospect.”
