The Whirlwind

What a whirlwind of a week! I didn't want it to end...but it did come to an end with a screeching halt.

First the ups...

1. Got a partial request on Tuesday. My first yet. 2. Also on Tuesday got a surprise check from our unused Gap insurance - good timing, we needed it!
3. Again on Tuesday, we got word that we will likely have transportation again early next week. No guarantees, but the hope is what I needed.
4. Thursday was my eldests 10th birthday...therefore my celebration of being a mom for a full decade!
5. Friday I awoke to a request for my FULL m/s from an agent I had queried on Thursday night!
6. I get the house to myself tonight...well, once the girls are in bed. My boys will be out at a Monster Truck Rally.

So those are the ups. But now it all comes to a screeching halt. I have out a partial and a full...that's great, it's HUGE, actually. But...now I have to wait. Sit on my hands and wait for a response. They may hate it (the horror!)...they may love it (Joy!)...but I won't know. It all depends on their level of business and typical response time. I'm expecting at least a couple of weeks on the partial. Who knows on the Full. I mean, she asked for it fast...but that doesn't mean she'll be able to read it fast...

I've never been a nail biter...but I'm anxious enough to pick up a new habit these days *lol*
