Audio book production company recommendations

Does anyone have any positive experiences with specific book production companies, making their print books into audio books? We're looking into this as a next step for both children's and adult titles and would like some feedback from those who have done it already. Thanks!

I have some suggestions... If you use a studio, work with an experienced engineer and negotiate the price. If you want to record in your home, do a little research to find how to get a good sound. Ask a musician to help you. Use a good microphone (borrow it from the musician). Shop around to get the best price for CD manufacturing. Check out Discmakers.com for pricing examples. Be conservative with your first order. Talk with one or more distributors to get an idea of what you will face in the market place. Don't forget to add an ISBN to the package.
