www.thebookattic.us Interviews Texas Author Sandy Wilson

The Book Attic Interview Author Sandy Wilson from Dallas, Texas, USA

Tell us what makes you proud to be a writer from your City, State or Country:

I'm proud to be a writer from Texas because Dallas, Texas is a great place to live. I've loved it for over 25 years now. Dallas/Fort Worth is where my book starts and ends.

What or who inspired you to become a writer:

I guess I'd have to say, my husband. I initially was writing a movie script about my ex-husband and our life together. My current husband asked me to write this book first. He thought that it would be practical if I wrote a book before I wrote the screenplay. I had to agree, so I put aside the script and started typing my autobiography three and a half years ago.

Tell us why you write the genre(s) that you write:

To me, true stories are the best! I always love hearing about real events, even if they are bad. As far as my book is concerned, it contains real personal knowledge of the pain I endured and how I coped with so much abuse and tragedy. I lived everyday in dangerous dysfunction. It was a tumultuous abusive relationship and sometimes I wonder how I got through it, but I did. My ex-husband was a sociopath, a very violent and sick person who ripped my heart out and never understood the true meaning of love.

What special projects are you working on now and what books do we have to look forward to in the future?

Right now, I'm marketing this book. I intend on writing the movie script for the book in the future. Hopefully it will be a movie someday.
