The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

It has been many months since I've had the time to visit Book Marketing Network, and in that time much has happened. Last December, after much consideration, I decided it was time that I took my common sense ideas to the arena of public ideas. I decided to run for Represenative to the Maine Legislature, and thus far it has been a mixed experience.

When I first announced, people were very excited to hear than a normal guy was finally going to run for an elected office, someone who isn't going to screw them or lie to them. Though, the initial excitement has died down, and most people aren't really interested in politics, which explains why crooks are allowed into office in so many places.

My job will be doubly difficult now, for I am not alone in the race. I am running as a Republican, and a party insider has decided to run again, meaning I have the party machine to contend with in the primary before I can even get to the general election. I have high hopes that a grassroots effort can defeat the tired out same-old party politics.

My writing has not died down, either. I spent the last week of October and the first few weeks of November cranking out the sequel to Virtual Wiles. "Prisoner of Time" is currently looking for a publisher or agent. I will let you know how it goes.
