What happens when the customer sets the price?

They pick the lowest price right?

Wrong!

As an experiment (and a way to get some press:-) I set up a page for the ebook edition of my new book Stop Living Paycheck to Paycheck - Learn how you can create immediate income now, with 6 different pricing options, ranging from $9.97 down to $2.00. It's a name your price product.

I copied the idea from the band, Radiohead who also did it.

It seemed a cool thing to do for several reasons, including making it affordable for people who might really need it and have no money to spend.

I'm not at all attached to what people pay. As a matter of fact, I'm just fine if a million people download it for the $2 price:-)

What's interesting is that, from a small sampling of about 100, one third of the people are choosing a price other than the lowest.

Kind of restores your faith in human nature.

Since it's an e-product , I have an 8 CD home study program as an upsell and my mission is to impact people's lives in a positive way, I can't possibly lose.
