I entered the synopsis and first two chapters of Midnight Hours in the OWFI (Oklahoma Writers Federation, Inc) contest in the unpublished manuscript mystery/suspense category. Not only did Midnight take 2nd place, but the comments from the judge, who sent a short critique, really encouraged me. He/she wrote comments such as the following:

I'll be honest - I love this story! Your characters are believable; the plot is different; the style is fresh; and I loved the strong, gripping opening!

I made few comments because there wasn't much to add. It is well written, has that suspense and even romance

Two comments at the beginning of the novel were very complimentary:

Super opening sentence. We preach a gripping opening. Thank you.

Wow!

The novel comes out the last of June, so publishing is a good decision.

Thanks, Elysabeth. I'll take you up on that review offer.

Yes, Linda, it does feel fantastic. Isn't it nice to share with others who know the feeling, too?

Hey, Aidana, I'm glad you're part of this book, too. I've heard so many say how great the cover is. Just wait until they see the marvelous job of the book design.
