Concerning all matters of life, there is choice. Choices can be made proactively or reactively. Proactive choice usually results from diligent forethought, research, investigation and contemplation (prior to an anticipated occurrence). In contrast, reactive choice, for the most part, relies on instinctual quick or immediate response to an event; normally those that are seemingly, or in fact, life threatening.
