A Great Review of 'Of Aztecs and Conquistadors'

Following the recent release of my poetry collection 'Of Aztecs and Conquistadors' the book has received a couple of very fine reviews, the latest one appearing on the website of Books on Board, which reads as follows:

Poetry as it should be! I can see why Mr. Jalisco won the recent Preditors & Editors Best Poet of 2008 award. This work is superb. 'Heroes of the Revolution' can reduce a man to tears, and 'The Flag' reveals in stark reality the horrors of a civil war. There is romance too, and Juan Pablo Jalisco's poems to Maria Conchita are touching and show great depth of romantic feeling. this poet gives us humour too, as in 'Sleeping Giants in Sunday Best Hats'. I loved it. 'Of Aztecs and Conquistadors' is a triumph for Mr. Jalisco. Thoroughly recommended.
