A Little Bit about Myself

I’ve been an artist almost all my life, beginning when I was introduced to oil painting as a teenager at The Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto. I remember so well painting the face of a young man who sat for us. I’d never lifted a brush before, but for some miraculous reason, after a brief lesson from the teacher, I got a perfect likeness. I then went on to study portrait painting throughout my school years and by the age of 25, I was a pretty popular portrait painter, more or less the “it” thing in Toronto.
