For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

Last year I decided to get involved with getting some shortstories into anthology books, which I started doing. After this I got an idea.I want to put together my own anthology book, but not with my own shortstories. I want to get a dozen or so writers together and make our ownanthology book.

Even better than that, I want to make this an anthology bookwhere all proceeds go to a certain charity. Since I am in the beginning stagesof this idea I am not positive which charity and open to ideas. I was thinkingof doing a charity that is involved with giving books to kids and what not.

Then I thought… OK, this will get some people interested.BUT! What if I could get one or two BIG name authors to help? Now that wouldmake it a little bit more amazing huh?

So this is my goal:

I plan to make a paranormal/fantasy anthology book.Vampires, demons, witches, werewolves, harpies, shift shappers, etc etc are allwelcome in this book! Romance, no romance, horror, or just plain silliness! Aslong as there is some fantasy and parnormal activity going on then your storymight be perfect for this.

I want to get around 12 authors/writers interested. (Thosepublished and not published!)

Between 5k – 10k stories

Including 1 – 2 big name authors if not more. I am thinkingof asking Jeaniene Frost, Kim Harrison, Christopher Moore, Tamora Pierce, andwhoever else’s email, twitter, or facebook names I can get a hold of!

Also, if you have any recommendations on authors to contactplease let me know!

I am hoping I can find an editor who might be interested indonating their time and energy into this as well. HOWEVER, if I can’t find aneditor to do it for free maybe I can find someone at a discount or possiblyeveryone could chip in and get it done? I’m not positive on that yet but I doknow there is a place called kickstarter.com where you can raise money forcreative projects you are working on so that is another alternative I couldtry.

Oh! And this would have to be an eBook only thing. I wouldlove to make it an actual paperback book, however, if it is kept as an eBookthere is no overhead and more money can go to the organization chosen.

If you are a writer, editor, publisher, reader (we will needbeta readers!), person with lots of free time and you are interested in thisplease leave a comment and let me know. I want to see if anyone would actuallywant to join me in doing this.

It would be a way not only to give back and help others butalso a way to get your name (as a writer) out there to people. So it’s a totalwin-win!

Later on when I see if there is any real interest frompeople I will decide on dates for people to make their entries and all that funstuff!

<3’s and Fangs,

Liz ^_^
