The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

This all started innocently enough.

Ning makes it easy to add applications to each profile page so I thought, why not add an RSS feed so I can have blog posts from other people listed on my page? That way, the other people are doing the writing, and it helps refresh content on my page at the same time. Pretty clever, huh?

Surrrrre.

Then, I started looking for blogs to list on the RSS feed application, which limits entries to 5. I peruse other people's blogs regularly, but I'm not a regular reader of any one blog. Or at least, I wasn't. Well, I wasn't planning to until...

You may know this already but there are gazillions (yes, that's the official statistic) of people writing blogs. And even within the category of "writing" there are still scads and scads of them. How to possibly keep up with this firehose of information which is coming at all of us, everyday, non-stop?

I don't know, but the five blogs below (and a Writer's Digest blog along the left column of my page) should now help you dip your toe in the blog reading world, should you choose to do so. However, I can't accept any credit or blame if you get hooked on blogs and start spending inordinate amounts of time reading them, much to the dismay of your family and/or dog who needs to be taken outside for a walk or.... ahem.

So, enjoy these blogs at your own risk. They're addictive, they're entertaining, and they're informative. You've been forewarned....
